The Cinema is a one-off exhibition event taking place in a cinema theatre (Riverside Studios, Hammersmith). Open to the public for just two hours (4-6pm), the work focuses on how the viewer encounters and experiences the space. Popcorn and drinks provided!

Site Visit...
...for anyone interested in taking part, I am organising a trip to the cinema to view the space- this will be a chance to meet others working on the project and spark up some ideas for your film...
We will be meeting at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith at 3pm on Friday 13th November.

CALLING ALL FILMMAKERS...
...or artists interested in working site-specifically...
I'm looking for a number of artists/filmmakers to create individual short films, to be filmed and screened in a specific location - a cinema theatre in Hammersmith.
Filming will take place over 2 days in November (26th/27th TBC), with a one-off screening event in January.
It's about creating multiple and temporary narratives within one space, a condition of viewing allowed by film as a time-based medium. The focus will be on how the viewer encounters/experiences the space during the screening.
Anyone interested should email a brief proposal of what you would make, or statement of why you are interested in this project, with 2/3 examples of previous work (previous work does not have to be film) to jayne_o_hanlon@hotmail.com by 18th Nov.
